High School Volunteer Program
Afterschool Volunteers
Aspire's high school volunteer program is a great way to get work experience, make a difference in your community, and earn service hours while helping our students with math, reading, and homework.
You’ll help 3rd-8th grade students with homework, reading, and math support during our daily afterschool program. We ask volunteers to make a 1 hour/week commitment.
Volunteer hours for afterschool tutoring are:
- Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 4-6pm
- Wednesday from 5-6pm
- Friday 4-5pm
To view specific shifts and availability, sign up to volunteer with our organization by visiting our Bloomerang Volunteer Homepage.
Summer Volunteers
Aspire’s six-week summer learning camp serves students in 3rd-8th grade. As a volunteer you will provide tutoring support for reading and math, and help with special projects around STEM, art, and the year’s camp theme. We ask volunteers to make a 1 hour/week commitment. A summary of your service hours is available upon request.
Volunteer hours for summer are Monday through Friday with the following options:
- Morning classroom help (9am-12pm)
- Morning reading (10-11am)
- Afternoon classroom help (12-3pm)
- Afternoon reading (1-1:30pm)
